Palm Pre Help

Hi,

I just got my Used Palm Pre unlocked for reliance.

Already in love with it. Its just amazingly smooth.

Having a problem please help if anyone knows.

I have the web OS ver 1.3.5.1

I had the 755p it got burnt out. long story.

I do not want to use the web to transfer my data from my PALM DESTOP to my PRE.

My Wifi is workng fine, checked by watching a video on youtube.

There is a software called CompanionLink for webOS USB, which i have downloaded on my desktop... but i am to download the same on my phone from APP CATALOG.

Without wifi i am able to open the APP CATALOG ( guess the previous owner must have accessed it).

I am unable to open the application nor am able to open the APP CATALOG or even the UPDATE using wifi.

Update just does not open, and APP CATALOG gives an error " THE ACTION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED.Try again later. "

Please help if anyone is Familiar.

If i update or anything or if i do a partial reset will i lose all the setting ie will it continue to work with Reliance or will i have to re-unlock it.

Will the EVO connection work. Thanks.
