lokeshsapre 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2004 still its better than earlier when reliance hardly used to launch any phones, now atleast we have quite a good number of handsets to choose from 20397 yeh, now its getting quite a bit confusing as well! rates r fluctuating day in n out! 20457 ture... suddenly there are loads of models coming in. In a way its good coz now it offers the new customers and those who want to upgrade from their earlier b&w models more options. But pricing is very dicy. For instance..the nokia model for 10999.. well features wise..the only USP is built in radio, speaker ph and infrared support. The screen color display..resolution..pic quality is very average...not at par with some of the other camera models in its league...or for that matter as compared to LG7230. For best picture quality & video quality...7230 is the best...and its priced the same...but then, it lacks those features that I mentioed above... ......... mann...choosing a ph would now be a real dilemma for all new customers

anujit 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Another overpriced, overhyped piece of #$* from Nokia! Lemme crib.... 1. The boxy design s**ks! 2. Screen colours - 65k - all other phones of a similar price range has a 260k screen by now. 3. Outside screen 4k - most others sport a 65k (minimum now) 4. Doesnt support EVDO! Any "state-of-the-art" phone released in 2004 should support EVDO! 5. No smart phone features! no outlook no windows no word! http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc/pr...rod_id=SPH-I700 The Samsung I700! Now thats a phone! neo 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 the wwe in my area is sellin the nokia 6012 now as welll they the cost is 6000 but alok is right no rworld on any of the new nokia models... the nokia guy sittin at wwe told me that nokia will take atleast 3 months to come with a software update wherein we can access rworld... also to my delight he said that the nokia 6255 would be out soon say maybe a 3-4 weeks... cheers neo
AmanJ 1 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 also to my delight he said that the nokia 6255 would be out soon say maybe a 3-4 weeks... but i think it'll b steeply priced coz the 6260 the GSM version of 6255 in almost 18000, so expect even a higher price for 6255
neo 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2004 remember the lg 7230 was priced at approx 20000 when it was launched which was abt 6-8 months back... and now its just 9000-10000 bucks so we'll just have to wait for nokia to slash its prices..... cheers neo
