As I said in another posting, all Reliance handsets are now pre-provisioned for data services. If you don't want to use R-Connect simply don't use it :ph34r: . And as the default plan is Zero-Rental you will not be charged anything, however if you have opted for freedom/platinum plan call CC and change your plan to Zero-Rental to stop getting billed for R-Connect.

In case you are afraid of Reliance Billing system, call up CC and get it completely deactivated.

I don't know the full form of MACD but have seen this term in Clarify, will try to find it out and let you know :'(

Current prepaid Tariff will be discontinued. All customers to be migrated to new default plan from next recharge.

basically, does this mean our free_net bug has been patched ?

how does this go ? its a lil confusing here....the question i guess is - how long does rconnect stay alive AFTER zero balance...? (like WITHOUT *4120/*412)

I guess with this the bug has been patched. And the rates are attractive now compared to before. My recharge is not due till Dec. 20, so wouldn't be able to verify till then

Today I used Rconnect after 3 months. To activate I dialed *412 without this it was not working. But on dialing *4120 got message that this facility is not available contact *333.

I dialled *412 yesterday ...just to check. I got IVR msg: "Request accepted". Got a confirmation SMS also after couple of mins.

How come its still working for some and not for others..... Is this something related to the recharge voucher...

Saurav are you on postpaid or prepaid???

so that means that the net bug is still there they just deactivated it but if u get a way thru u can get free net

ive a prepaid.. i just dialed *412, gotta sms saying ur phone as a modem will be activated shortly

I am getting this...

1) *4120 = This facility is not available on your phone.

2) *412 = Your phone is already active as a modem.

Rconnect not working. I have to recharge it.

guys, but i already done *4120, this will create any problem for me.

And today I recharged the card and Rconnect start working but this will continue after 3 hours because right now i have Rs. 150 in my account.

we r all ears dude....pls do KEEP US UPDATED... tell us what happens after 7.00..(and nine 9.00, or even better.. tomor also)

if u cud still connect, then we would still have a varient of the free_net_bug...as ganesh suggested...AND THAT WOULD BE COOL... ;):)

hi friends,

i used to enjoy unlimited free access by not checking my balance.disabling and enabing by *4120 and *412.but now a days i am getting message ur mobile does not have the facility. even i have recharged with 200rs and shocked to find a sudden dip to zero. :clap: oo my think reliance has fixed the loop hole of pre-paid.can any tell me a solution.
