::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 The HTC EVO 4G announced by Sprint at CTIA seemingly has the most well-rounded specs--4G, large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, HDMI output, HD video recording at 720p, 8-megapixel camera, HTC Sense UI and Android 2.1, and all the radios and sensors that generally go with a high-end smartphone--and may be the Android smartphone to beat this summer but Motorola isn't sitting still. The company had already released a number of tablet-based smartphones for the Chinese market that make use of HDMI output and Motorola's Droid on Verizon Wireless has been a huge domestic hit. The company has submitted a new Android-based smartphone called the MB810 to the WiFi Alliance that seems to match many of the specs of the HTC EVO 4G, except maybe the 4G radio. The specs for the MB810 include: HD video recording, an 8-meapixel camera, HDMI output, and a large 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen. Motorola was rumored to be working on a slate-based smartphone sans sliding keyboard called the Shadow with high-end specs--could this be the Shadow? Whether this will support CDMA or GSM technology and whether if it will come to the USA or be for the international market is unclear at this time. However, from these preliminary specs, the MB810 will be very competitive with the HTC EVO 4G, and the addition of Android's Froyo 2.2 OS is a nice addition. kshah 452 Report post Posted May 5, 2010 Though motorola may be android device, HTC sense UI and smart Dial makes it better than any other phone with similar OS. Once user get hooked to sense UI and more so to smart dial, its difficult to switch to any other device.
