Puneet 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2004 hmmm... I noticed it too, please do post here if anyone else is also having the same problem with avatars. 20614[/snapback] This happened with me too. My original avatar was bigger then the permitted size. It was automatically resized and lost its animation. Then I resized it using Adobe Photoshop and relaoded it. And its been working fine since then :-) Just check out is thats the case here too.
Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted November 29, 2004 I faced also same problem, when i set the little puppy pic as my avtar. It was not animating, but when i uploaded it on other site and gave the link as my avtar, it began working fine. So that will be better that u u/l ur pic somewhere and give the link in ur avtar setting.

Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 Dear mods & admin, If i select an avtar from Forum gallery, its shown of full size. But if we select our own image, either u/l from our pc or any site link, its automatically reduced to 64x64 size. why? Shrinked image doesnt look as good as it actually is. So pls tell me the reason why the default gallery image r not reduced to 64x64 size? and can the dimension limit (64x64) be increased, like 100x100 or something like that? Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 The default images were not uploaded thru forum tool, it was directly pasted on to server. When you upload thru the tool, it will be automatically resized..
Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 So is there no provision to change the size?
