Qpst Not Detecting Htc Hero On Windows 7

Hello Techies,

When I press ##3424# on my Sprint HTC Hero, it is coming in DIAG mode, my windows detect new hardware found but When I divert it to HTC Diag driver folder it is not detecting

I have Windows 7 64 bit installed. I am using HTC Sync well

Help needed :confuse:

wont work on 64 bit; use 32 bit os's only...

diag drivers wont work on win 7 64bit

thats a drawback of it

best use xp for all programming stuff

I am able to do everything on Windows 7 32 bit now... but doesnt work on my Dell W7 64 bit...

well u are only referring to hero

i am talking in general about all handsets

there are some handsets which still give issues on win7 32 bit also

thats why i use only xp for any type of programming

thats why I have kept my desktop on dual boot and one partition on xp still.... in case of emergency.... LOL

If its going off topic and turning into a OS debate, then I feel Windows 7 32 bit is the best ever overall.... try doing all your hacking stuff on it also... they should succeed...

Thanks for that, I will use my Laptop having XP to do the QPST stuff, U should find a way to use on Win 7 64 bit as well..

I dont have XP at all. My laptop has 7 and desktop dual boot 7 and ubuntu
