Those who simply can't wait can get the update now from the Firefox release directory. There are no details available at the moment as to what fixes/improvements will be made in this update to Firefox, but it is likely to include a fix for a password flaw uncovered last month. In other Firefox-related news, BetaNews is reporting that Firefox is still growing in marketshare despite Microsoft’s recent Internet Explorer 7.0 release. According to the latest numbers from WebSideStory, Firefox’s share has risen from 9.84% in mid-October to 10.7% currently.
