normally a foxpro program is first written in a file with .PRG extension.

The same is then compiled into a project (.PJT) and finally into a .exe file.

Do you have the source codes (i.e. the .PRG file)

If you have the PRG file then only can any one help you.

In addition to the PRG files their are also some DBF files (these are the actual data of yours )

even if you have this a new program can be developed.

I have worked on visual Foxpro and can help you if the PRG files are available.

Yo, reminds me of my old days in FoxPlus, FoxPro and Visual Foxpro way back in 1990.

There will be several files that are used for programming in Visual FoxPro.

.prg Source code program. When you open it you can read the contents in Notepad.

.frx Report file. Used for Generating Report

.scr Screen file. Used for input from the user

.dbf Database file. Used for storing data

.idx, .cdx Index files. Supporting files for .dbf files for indexing purpose

.str Database Structure file

.pjt .pjx Project file. Binding all above files (except .dbf and index files) to form a Project and to handle all kind of files from one panel. You can create .exe file from this which can run independently on any PC

.fxp Foxpro compiled files. In case if .exe is not generated there will be multiple fxp files one for each prg. To run this you will require Visual Foxpro or its runtime

You need to ensure that you have collected complete set of files from the current Developer.

You will require Programmer who knows Foxpro / Visual Foxpro (Rare to find) as well Visual Foxpro Software.

If you were in Mumbai, I could have helped you to some extent.
