HItesh you can put the link of these Rom in your list with thanks to Ami1 Actually, you were the one to correctly diagnose that the SMS issue is due to chinese chars in treo8 roms. Rest was just standard treatment protocol ! Now I realize why my bank SMS's were blank/incomplete sometimes. Strangely i never noticed this problem before you pointed it out. drmadhu 87 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 @BAblus- When U work for 1x kindly check in QPST when U put the User name in UM tab u put password like UTS Kindly check when u copy paste username from Muffy Post there was as space between UTS and reliance . vll 1 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 i just got plm pixi plus i cant create my profile every time i try it gives error "contact palm help' i tried almost 25 to 30 times with wifi with phone data but of no use i first tried with 1.3.5.1 by pass rom then i tired with 1.4.5 bypass rom given by tushar/ gaurav. but still icant creat profile. i want to load application from app catalogue but aas profiel is not created i cant access it. please help me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

See if you can run the 'Backup' app and click on preferences (top left) and select profile and then give your password there. You can reset the password if you had created a security question earlier. You can also check if the password is correct by first logging in to the web page for palm profile (link given in 3D apps.. topic i think) If you want to create new profile i think you'll need to run the 1st use app. If its not visible just run WOSQI and go to tweaks and select show 1st use app there. BTW, i am not sure if you can create a new profile since my pre only let me create a profile 1st time. After that it never asks me for login id (email) but only the password - even after doctoring. Somehow it associates the handset with my palm profile login ID (maybe through serial no or something) Anyone has any experience or idea of ordering mobile parts from pdasmart.com ? I need to order LCD+Digitizer for Palm Pre but am not sure if its a dependable site or not. Also any one has knows of any cheaper options for this ? Couldn't check the Palm Profile part, - because I couldn't use 1x data and don't have wifi in my office - that is because I couldn't connect to QPST for data settings - that is because I couldn't go in Diag mode - that is because I couldn't find USBNet app in Launcher So please tell me how to enter in Diag mode, is there any Konami code for this also as for going into Developer mode. Genius 817 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 So please tell me how to enter in Diag mode, is there any Konami code for this also as for going into Developer mode. ami1 's RoM 2 installs preware as soon as it gets data line wifi or 1x - from there you get a app known as Dev mode launcher, as it it Dev mode is always on in his rom by default you might want to turn it off...... Got the data working, and almost everything is fine now, including SMS. Started First use app and was able to Login to my Palm Profile without any issues. Genius 817 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 ^^^ i tried many times to log in to my palm profile - no help i went to palm/palmprofile lodged in with my id changed password - retried - nothing says Sign in Failed and when i create a new it says failed- my profile in net did not showed any device on it. when i press backup now in backup app it says no internet connection - funny i m on Wifi Is there no of tries that you can create/edit profile - as i read it net many who faced this problem were asked to do ##786# and reset - followed by putting in MSL code which is 00 for me. ami1 never faced this because he backs up and restores db3 file which has profle information shall i go for reset with ##786# @ Dr KMM / friends any inputs Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
