And even the 6K is too high, in the UK it sells for 58.5 (48.5 GBP price + 10 GBP talktime)= 3K INR Cookie Pep Prices in India are always too high, even for GSM. And for CDMA, well it is astronomical.

It is suggested to u to get ur number swaped from nearest webworld to ur OMH sim, also go with complete documentation like ur id card/photograph as they will ask u for it. Fraud case with one of my uncle happened a year back. He recieved a call on his cell that this is call from reliance you have been gifted talktime of 200/- and for getting that u need to dial a number from ur mobile ..... and You know what was that number ....... That number was *229+HCC card no. Perhaps my uncle dialed that no. and his no. was gone away but that was restored from webworld later on... so due to these type of fraud cases reliance has closed number swapping thru HCC. commonman 228 Report post Posted July 11, 2010 so due to these type of fraud cases reliance has closed number swapping thru HCC. There are several buy/sell threads on this forum offering HCC cards, and some of them from persons associated with Webworlds. Which means that they are still operational. suvirajshetty 4 Report post Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) @ suvirajshetty Pls post a review of this lg510 handset soon...it helps other to choose/not choose this handset..... Friend i would like to give reviews but i am not the geek. in lay man terms this handset is value for money with good user interface. web browsing is good on 1x, cant comment on evdo as i am still struggling to transfer my no to OMH sim. on inserting OMH sim it show two different signal bars one for 1x and other for evdo. played youtube videos through 1x in mumbai, without any break. voice clarity is very good, and even network reception is also good as always with LG. tried to install opera browser but failed due to unsupported URL, dont know why. the form factor is very good, nice and slim. people use many other feature in phone but i cant comment on those as i seldomly use them cant comment whether this handset supports third party application or not. i bought this handset for rs 8000. KAPILKDEV 68 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) I am also interested in this handset and like to hear reviews. One thing I found disappointed is its battery backup, it is only 150 hours, I am satisfied when the battery backup is 240 hours(10 days) or higher. Sorry sorry fevin-raj and other friends who read my reply. The battery backup is only for 150 hours and NOT 150 days. I wrongly typed it as 150 days and corrected it now. I also thanking fevin-raj for indicating my mistake. Thank you.
