Bb 8330 Keyboard Not Responding

I AM HAVING PROBLEM WITH MY BB 8330 ALLTEL, KEYBOARD IS NOT RESPONDING, IT HAS HAPPENED 2ND TIME

LAST TIME I HAD RELODED THE OS & IT STARTED WORKING,

IS THAT HARDWARE PROBLEM OR ANY OTHER ISSUE AS THIS TIME I HAVE DONE THE SAME THING BUT ITS NOT RESPONDING

1) please type in small letters dont use caps

2) I am not a genius, but i take full advantage of Internet

3) to replace:- it depends on what is wrong with the keypad.

it may be keypad it self, keypad membrane or something else.. you need to test your self.

also if you have one more 83xx phone you can try interchanging parts for test.

do u have any problems with ur laptop/pc keyboard as well ??

if not , then stop posting in caps

if u cant get it done go to any local repair shop , most repairwalas can do bb repair

Hello any one remembered me, @ parin bhai if its problem with all the key then it can be a SW problem if its with some of the keys look for help in cleaning the KB as there may be some deposit / dust / carbon

Some thing interesting:

Upper and lower case letter are named 'upper' and 'lower' because in the time when al original print had to be set in individual letters, 'uppercase letters' were stored in the case on top of the case. below stored smaller 'lower case'

Today again new problem started, keyboard started working automatically but not able to connect QPST

Only Desktop Manager is able to Detect the Phone

u need to configure port and add them in the list is they are not added, only added port work in QPST - try n report

in that case try repairing your desktop manager

you should see two virtual rim ports in device manager

if u dont then bb desktop manager has problem

U r rite as previously there were 2 port now it has only one port, Should i uninstall & reinstall

Surely Destop Manager has problem, because whenever i install it in XP operating, it disables the task manager

@Genius I know what u said but it was port problem which has some how gone, now uninstalling & installing the destop manager,

again i had upgraded the desltop manager to 5.0 may that could be the reason, so now again going to install 4.7

Now the Phone is Showing in QPST but when i start service programming

its showing

"Online connection faliure

Unspecified error"

It is also getting connected in UNICDMA but not able to read & save memory

Is it possible to read the memory while in wipe mode

^^ i guess not when there is 507 you can not read memory, i think you have corrupted many drivers @once, try some other computer - gurus any other suggestion?

Previosly is was connectiong to higher version too but options for BB doest come

but now it is only showing but not allowing to connect to qpst or any other probram,
