It's actually already confirmed by some reports in some of the websites that all the carriers will be providing 4G services using FDD-LTE technology on 1800 Mhz frequency in India. That's the reason even the 1800 Mhz frequency spectrum has seen a lot of interest in recently finished auctions. And since no one has Pan-India license of 2300 Mhz spectrum(except for RJIL), it perfectly makes sense for the other carriers to use 1800 Mhz spectrum for 4G services. And as far as sim card is concerned, I guess every body has to get a new sim to avail 4G services because I don't think the present sim cards supports that feature. Sam007 5 Report post Posted February 21, 2014 I think ADA RCOM will have to totally rethink strategy to be relevant once MDA RJIO 4g comes. New 4g handsets would be selling like hot cakes and the cdma handsets would be left in lurch ( i sincerely hope not though!!)
