retro182 1 Report post Posted May 26, 2010 I'm a RCDMA BB user and i want to know how will the CDMA technology evolve to compete with 3G? I am currently getting 1X for my voice and EVDO for me emails on the BB 9630. I am requesting the senior members of this forum to explain in a simplified manner how will the CDMA technology evolve to take on 3G and does it make any sense to stick with CDMA with the onset of 3G. ::Hitesh:: 1,763 Report post Posted May 26, 2010 3G service is available on CDMA which is called EVDO, you get high speed internet on it. till date no operator have started 3g service, but in CDMA its available from more than a year.
