When i try to connect thro RConnect the dial up says the modem is not responding. when i am using bitpim also there is no transaction. but i have two more rd2030 set and all these work fine for bitpim and rconnect what can i do pls help me!!!! Code 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Check the Data settings & speed on Ur handset. It shud be 11500 kbps. If that's OK then.. Did U try restarting the phone ? Switch off the phone. Remove the battery. Short the battery contacts on the phone (Don't short the battery else battery may explode!!!). Put back the battery. Restart. Try connecting. If all esle fails - check if the cable socket on phone appears to be damaged/visit a LG ASC. I m not able to connect phone for sync yet able to connect Rconnect . can any one help.. please...... 21833[/snapback] Dear rim001, You can run your pc-sync software in 2 mode, one is continuous polling mode and one is user selecetable mode, well in continuous polling mode sometimes software get confused about the com port and report error after a long try, I will suggest you to change the continuous poll to manual one, you can change it by right clicking it's icon in system tray, and choosing the appropriate option, this suggestion will only work if you already have selected the right com port in your configuration.
