Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Hello everyone I'm posting here after a long time. I hope some of you still remember me. I'm looking for a good CDMA handset under 10K. I think Samsung would be the best choice. I'm not looking for any special feature. I just want a value for money handset. It must support RUIM. Which handset would you guys prefer in that budget? I'll really appreciate any kind of reply. Thank you.

haxpak 6 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Go for the Metro TV or Corby handsets from samsung. Both these sets support EVDO and have RUIM which is a must for you
imshyam 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Hey HI ! Vishal Nice to C you Again ! Btw if u want only RUIM Based Handset ! i'll Prefer Samsung Speed Corby ! (WITH OR WITHOUT TV) Big Screen Size Touch Response ! And in 6275 Built Quality IS too much Good ! But Screen Size Less than other phones in the market right naw ! Well..... and if u go With Without RUIM Based Handset there are many ! With Sprint ! Like BB 8330( With 2 MP CAM all the same thing as BB8830 ) BUT 8330 cant Support GSM as 8830 Supports ! Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 well just a question y dont u go for imported cdma sets for cheap ? samsung corby is good as secondary phone , its not value for money for sure if u thinking about warranty and stuff , u will have hard time as it is to get it in samsung also live tv feature is ok , the bit rate is too low for a good viewing experince browser on corby s**ks , its too slow to process web pages only thing i use corby for is to tether evdo to my pc , no other use
pavneet 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 If u ok w/o camera / entertainment stuff - then BB8830 Would b the best i blv else samsung corby speed. BTW Nokia 6275 is another good option I purchased Nokia 6275 last month on e bay. But I got a set which was imported from Nigeria. WAP doesn't work on this set. Reliance Webworld people, online customer support, Nokia care people could not make it work. Without mobile internet, I don't think that it is a good choice any more.
