Htc Hero Overheating

Anyone else having trouble with thier HTC Hero overheating? I've never dropped my phone, no moisture, no nothing... not a scratch on her and all of a sudden the past couple weeks my phone gets hot and the battery drains it's self. Any help would be appreciated... I love my hero, this is my first problem with it. Maybe I just need a new battery?

It might be possible, that there might be various applications running in the background.. Download and install 'Advanced task killer' from the market, and keep the phone of 'running apps' free from time to time...

please check if your phone is connecting with your pc or not. if its not connecting then its a hardware problem.

Anyway CDMA has heating problem,

if its over heating than it might be some problem

Have a check as my nokia 7650 had blasted because of heating

it was my 1st Costliest phone, was ruined in 1 yr

check your awake time

if ur wake time and uptime are same

its mostly coz of some app casuing your phone not to go into standby mode and causing this issue

if ur awake time is < uptime

then its a battery issue
