lokeshsapre 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 hehehe.. all that we get to see is movie trailers and download some of the video clippings but i wonder how the user experience would be of watching a movie on mobile? Even now the streaming content that we see on our reliance mobiles..the quality is not that good. Sometimes there are jerks or the sound is not in sync with the clipping. Also... the image qulaity is not that good....which is bound to happen coz the content that we see on our phones have 'not' been made for mobiles but usually is 'optimised' to play on mobiles..which reduces the quality a lot. rahuldevnath 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 The problem is when RIM entered tha market in Jan 2003 they had state of art technology, as the CDMA 2000 1X, and u could get live streaming at a awesome speed of 144Kbps, but unfortunately, RIM only streaming at 112 Kbps. And even 144 Kbps is not enough, for that. Unlike 2 years ago, GSM have come up and upgraded to EDGE and will be going ahead with upto WCDMA tech, where download speed can go upto 1.4 MBPS!!!! So, it's high time for reliance that they should go for an upgradation.
