Arun 795 Report post Posted July 3, 2010 The forum software has been upgraded to IP.Board 3.1.1 today with few new features included. The main new features include: * Improved Status Updates on the sidebar with direct comments (no more changing own status to reply to others status!) * New Mobile Skin (check it out using your mobile browser!) * Link Sharing - Easily share links to your Facebook, Twitter, and more (scroll to the bottom of any topic) * Topic Preview - Preview the first few lines of a topic and the last post without loading the entire topic. (hover your mouse over a topic title and click the little arrow icon on the right) * Improved Notification system (various) * Custom Profile Page - to be enabled later * View Reputation - See who gave reputation points on your posts (click on the reputation point) - to be enabled later * Twitter, Facebook integration - to be enabled later * iPhone Application - to be enabled later (Yes, Android app is coming soon!) There are many other improvements under the hood as well for overall performance enhancement. New home page will be implemented by next week using IP.Content, along with other structural changes! Note: I will update this topic when the "to be enabled" features are added, hopefully today!
