do following

use qpst 2.7 build 323

use model as surf 7600-7600

then once u open qpst send your spc , make sure spc is correct

then press read , if it read properly means spc is correct

then write prl

also use bb 9630 os 4.7.140 if still u cant load

Tired to downgrade my OS to 4.7.140, but still i face this error while writing the IMSI_S .. "NV_READONLY_S"

I am desperate to start reliance CDMA service on this handset

ignore that error; it is writing to your phone....prl has to be written in system/roaming tab

Well .. i am trying to .. I managed to make *222 call from the BB tour handset (which was registered with Sprint).. So I am presuming that it will function.

I think the next step for me would be to transfer number from my existing handset to BB handset (the handset change card will not work as *228 does not work .. it gives some music and disconnects)? Any thoughts people whether I am on the right track?

Yes .. realised this later .. also .. the CDMA workshop demo version was capable to do so without any error.

The Mobile network still shows "Sprint PCS" (however I managed to make a *222 call with the handset) .. any thoughts on that?

Will changing the ESN and MIN do the trick of transferring the number from one handset to another? Any adverse effect of doing this?
