hiteshkkk1 327 Report post Posted July 15, 2010 Hello.. I am using samsung galaxy spica (android ver 2.1) I have some issues with dialer as below: 1. I feel the default dialer is bit laggy with no options to turn of vibration on key presses. 2. On opening the dialer with phone key, it starts with Call Logs & not the dialer. Then I have to select dialer manually. 3. In dialer, there is no option to search names through Alphabets or T9. The only search it applies is to numbers. I mean, if i deal 98230, all numbers have 98230 in them will be filtered. So, to call specific person, I have to go in Contacts, turn keypad on, then search for a person. Its toooo long process. 4. I use Dialer one. Even that seems tooo slow. By slow, I mean if I type Sunil on numpad (79645), it will take 1-2 sec before displaying names. I remember of using Resco for this & till date that was the best dialer I had ever used. It was fast like a rocket. Finding some person or calling certain number in Android is really pain, atleast for me. Has anyone found some workaround for this issue or every one facing same problems in other android handsets like Hero, Moment, etc... Thanks in advance. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 ^ hetal, he said that he has already used Dialer One and didnt like it either... maybe this samsung galaxy is too slow in hardware configuration OR he has too many contacts that it takes time to search... HetalDP 947 Report post Posted July 16, 2010 Dialer one is acting amazing fast in all phone i have ever used from G1, Magic, Hero GSM, Hero CDMA, HTC ERIS, Nexus One, Incredible and EVO I also used Galaxy S of Friend and Advised him to use Dialer One and he is happy i think Spica have very very low 128 MB ram and thats cuasing Problem use Advanced Task from Rechild and try it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
