abhi.r 95 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Heard about this on TV news channel about a week ago. Joy for those who fancy to use Blackberry but cannot afford their prices. "Now step into the world of BlackBerry with easy and affordable tariff plans on Vodafone Prepaid, starting at Rs. 15/day. Surf the net and access mail while on the move, stay connected with BlackBerry Messenger, catch up with friends on social networking sites, capture, replay and share priceless moments with multimedia applications on your Smartphone." Source: http://www.vodafone.in/existingusers/prepaid/pages/blackberryonprepaid.aspx?cid=del Vodafone is providing BIS services ranging from Rs. 15/Day to Rs. 399/month for their prepaid customers. Postpaid customers: You still need to wait. Rs. 15/day is awesome for people who needs Blackberry services only when they travel. though monthly charges is also very affordable. Hope to see more slashed rates from other operators in future!

ami1 237 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Anyone have any idea how this differs from Reliance 'Blackberry Lite Plan' for 299/- pm ?
tarun_kabra 204 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Anyone have any idea how this differs from Reliance 'Blackberry Lite Plan' for 299/- pm ? I think 299/- plan of Reliance is only for Mail and IM, not for browsing.
abhi.r 95 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Yes no browsing. only IM and E-mails. Unlimited browsing plan by Reliance cost 800~900 (dont know the exact figure). All other operators charge approximately the same as above for Unlimited Browsing+E-mail+IM. Except Vodafone Prepaid.
abhi.r 95 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 wow, so just Rs 399 per month for full BIS on Vodafone now? Yes but only for Prepaid. Cheers for Vodafone. Post customers still have to pay 800-900. Hope soon that too will come down.

abhi.r 95 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Saw this on MTNL Delhi website... BIS 2G Unlimited @ 699/month BIS 3G Unlimited @ 1199/month Does that mean 3G unlimited internet + other Blackberry benefits just for 1199/month?? One can use BB phone as a Wifi Hotspot with this plan and Kaboosh!!
ami1 237 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 I think 299/- plan of Reliance is only for Mail and IM, not for browsing. Sorry to hijack, but can we use 1X data on normal rates along with this LITE plan on reliance BB ?Or is there some big monthly commitment for 1X Netconnect data ? djain1989 16 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 I am wondering why postpaid users need to pay higher amount always? See, even in reliance those unlimited plans (onnet and offnet) are still not launched for postpaid customers!

abhi.r 95 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Yea Telecommunication industry is very competitive with entry of new Operators. A trend which was started by Reliance. Reliance made it possible for each and every common man to own a mobile phone. Hats Off for reliance! Every operator tries to copy each others move to stay ahead of the competition. Soon all operators will be offering the same plan including our very own Reliance. This will definately promote sales of Blackberry Handsets in rimweb especially GSM ones, as CDMA BB cant be cracked for BIS
Honest 836 Report post Posted July 22, 2010 Wow....thats really great of Vodafone. Earlier Vodafone were always the last in the loop to offer such good plans.....but this time they are the one who taken the initiative.
