rEdshiFt 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 hi...i could really use some advice here... we have this un-f ucking-beleivably fast net cnxn in our college/hospital....the taskbar cnxn icon says 100 Mbps, but i guess its the lan speed...its a pretty big lan with ~ 200 machines...the institution has some kinda satellite_dish_net_access....one company called Hughes India...i think. anyways, what im tryin to say is, i would LUV to run my azureus on that...and i have not been able to....so far ... first i had trouble with installing the jre, and then i had problems installing azureus....anyways, i got them all succesfully installed now. azureus well suppotts proxys and i have the proxy ip correctly configured in the azu settings. azu loads up fine but i keep getting the "unknown Host exeption" error...with the tracker....(even when remaining signed_in in the tracker website)...itried d/ling from a buncha different tracker sites, but they all come up with the same "unknown Host exeption" error i tried a lotta stuff but im stuck....suggestions please.... it would be a dream_come_true to p2p at such speeds.
