Huawei Ec 1262 Driver Installation Failure In Win7 X86

I am not able to install driver for Huawei EC1262 on my windows 7 x86 PC. I am getting FAILED message when driver is getting installed. Also, after this failure the Windows will not shutdown and have to hard reboot it.

This device when connected to WinXP works fine. Any help will be highly appreciated.

may be driver not supported by WIn 7

Try installing in compatibility mode.

same model works fine for me i m using windows 7 ultimate only , as above said by genuis bhai try in compatibility mode or use windows update while installing also.

My windows version Microsoft windows 7 home basic version 6.1(build 7600). I have tried in compatibility mode but no success.
