FEVIN-RAJ 61 Report post Posted February 14, 2011 Ditched decision to buy Panasonic Plasma 42V20D... went for 2xSamsung LED (hum samsung vale hai bhai)... 5 series UA40C5000 40" MRP 71,900/- got for 42,800/- from Gaffar; both supports WiFi+Ethernet port & 5 series UA32C5000 32" MRP 52,000/- got for 32,750/- from Gaffar and bought 3rd for a friend - Sony Bravia BX400 40" Full HD MRP 57000/- got for 31,400/- 45% discount. Except that it has now android market access and 1.3 megapixel front camera. city02 63 Report post Posted February 22, 2011 actually i'm able to watch other channels while recording on my LG 160gb but that has nothing to do with the DVR / PVR that i bought a year ago. i just switch my TV input to regular cable [no STB] and start flipping while it records most of the time we record: - star world - zee cafe - axn and f1 on star sports / espn cost was rs. 15 k in singapore earlier we could also record from cable STB but after they upgraded, there is a 'copy protect' signal that blocks us from any recordings which s**ks. ^ No, not on present setup till we get dvb in india; you can record only what u are viewing right now through av in, but the record quality is fantastic even though its sd...
