ani_meher 42 Report post Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks for sharing this, Hitesh. For anyone booking tickets, check goibibo.com too. They have an offer of 200Rs off on every ticket (use code GOOFFERS). A Mumbai Jammu ticket costs 3,899.00 on Indigo, which will come to 3455Rs, and I booked an Jetlite one of the same date for 3335Rs on ibibo. I will recommend to check a few rates before confirming, and most importantly, check the cancellation policy. Some low price operators never give refunds, they just create a token for the passangers name, which is usable ONLY by that passanger (non transferrable) within 6 months only. In short, if your journey is cancelled for any reason, your money is as good as gone Keep sharing the deals!

I_C_U 10 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Oh I just missed it.. I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on 4th Aug. But there was no hint of discount on GoIndigo website neither on travel site. Check multiple site and compare rates before booking. I find that Travelocity.co.in gives the lowest rates. Also there are may discount offers on Return journey rather than one-way. I_C_U 10 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 did you tried rates on irctc.co.in They were higher by 300 to 400. But ya, irctc may be cheaper at times. I have noticed this in Hotel deals.
ani_meher 42 Report post Posted August 10, 2010 Please also check whether the ticket is refundable or not. Some are 'partially refundable' and even 'non-refundable. They are refundable (except when it is particularly written that they are non refundable). But ibibo charges 300rs over and above the airlines cancellation charges.
