ananth001 21 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 dear Guru's I would like to get back to stock 2.1 non-rooted on my Droid Incredible. I had upgraded my radio to 2.x and flashed the leaked 2.2 rom. No major issues , but am not able to "##778", nor use 'native usb tether'. Anyway upgrade was done just because had a rush of blood - just to prove to myself "Gone there - Done that" Sense has prevailed again, to wait for the official 2.2 OTA. Is it safe to go back (kindly suggest the right steps), if so is the following procedure the right one copy "PB31IMG.zip" to SD Card and 'reboot to recovery' ( is it safe to do this, as it was mentioned that "applying radio twice will result in a brick". thanks and regards ananth

ananth001 21 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 overall it's good, with no hitches except for these youtube buffers and stammers (guess that has to do with the virtual memory setting - don't know how to increase VM heap value - maybe needs a different - kernel) not able to ##778 native usb tether gone personally wud love to go back to stock 2.1 till the 2.2 ota comes - somebody please suggest ways to downgrade and give link to download the 2.1 stock rom , as I had not taken a nandroid backup
