pradipkjadav 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Hi All, Don't know if this forum has any topic around this issue. Tried to go through few topics but no luck, so posting a new topic. I am using Reliance netconnect Broadband+ (HSD). I was using Postpaid connection but later converted it to Prepaid. Actual Problem: Yesterday, I tried to connect to internet 7-8 times. But I was not able to surf.. It was giving "Page cant be displayed". So, I was sure enough that my internet was not working. Every time it tried to connect to reliance website but was not giving any results.. After that I used to disconnect it. So, Upload data was showing around 0.40 KB and Download was showing 0.00KB(For all failed connections). But when I saw my data usage(SMS to 53535), it reduced to 7-8MB in that time ...!!!! (It was 42MB before trying to connect first time and gradually reduced to 34MB after last attempt) That means If you connect to internet and surf below 1MB of data, it is going to reduce 1MB of count in total free memory usage...!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any idea, why it calculates like that ? Rounding off to 1MB.. Not calculating exact usage?
@mitJ@in 256 Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Yes, Pulse is of 1MB, you just connect and disconnect, 1MB shall be charged, 1MB is minimum and in case of more MBs, the charges are deducted to next nearest round off.
KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Very TRUE.. 1MB pulse is dangerous in week signal or congested areas.. Truly Unlimited is the way to go..

Ooops... Thats a problem then.. One will be in trouble, if there is some network issue from their side. We have to pay for their mistakes(or problems)..!! In 2 days, I have wasted more than 30MB in that. But now learned lesson and will be more alert next time. Wrote an e-mail to "netconnect.broadband@relianceada.com". Lets see, what they says.
