gupsachin 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I use a LG2130 on Win2K machine. I installed the modem and its drivers using the "Administrator" user. I also have a "Guest" user and a "User" user on that machine. The problem is that I cannot access R Connec using the "Guest" user or "User" user. The R Connect dialup software doesnt have the modem in its list. I also tried creating a new dial up connection in "Administrator" and tried using that in "User" user. This also failed with an error message "Remote Access Connection Manager failed. Access Denied" I want to access internet from users other than "Administrator" to make sure that no virus or other softwares are installed while surfing net. I cannot accept this fact that users other than "Administrator" cannot dial-up a connetion. Someone please help... -Sachin

gupsachin 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 This did not help. While creating the connection, I checked the check box that said "make for all users" and still i get the same error message. Is it that all people in this forum use Aministrator to access net?
