Connect the phone to the laptop via bluetooth.

Create a dial-up connection from network settings

Use your mobile number 93XXXXXXXX as username and password

Enter the number to be dialed as #777

you are online. Cost Rs.0.60p/minute

download drivers for the handset.. atleast you need modem drivers for the phone and then you can connect to PC using bluetooth or USB.

:previous:

There is no need for installing drives when using bluetooth to connect phone to laptop.

The phone's modem will be detected as a 'standard bluetooth modem' and you can create dialer using this modem. I have tried it using LG RD6600.

^^^

Yes. That is correct.

Just make sure that in phone's bluetooth profile DUN (Dial Up Networking) is activated/selected

Sorry I am talking on different issue than the subject. But it is related LG 6300.

I am unable to connect my LG 6300 to PC (windows xp) using LG Sync. When I tried to sync the phone, got an error as "No valid USB port".

Even I tried connecting to Linux(fedora 13) via bitpim, but no success.

How can fix this!?

Thanks in advance

2. Install the software. Make sure you close all other programs before install and restart the m/c after install

3. Install USB Driver

6. Enter details like below

Dial up phone number --> #777
