parrotred 3 Report post Posted August 10, 2010 (edited) as on today this handset will not work, it may work after reliance start taking meid. so wait for some time. Thank you for prompt response. But will a bad esn phone work when reliance accepts meid? Edited August 10, 2010 by parrotred
kshah 452 Report post Posted August 10, 2010 As long as esn do not belong to reliance they are bad as on today. But once they start accepting foreign meid or esn any esn which do not belong to reliance would be good esn as long there is no default on payments. If u r ready to wait its a good handset. Data is not working on it though

Aijaz 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 I also have got a Motorola Droid, unblocked by Verizon itself in US, but Webworld people have refused to accept that and so is the case of Tata indicom and virgin. Is there aby service in India that accepts it? I am yet to contact MTS. I am from Hyderabad, AP
digitalnirvana 646 Report post Posted March 22, 2011 ^ Please see I would assume you would need to get MEID registered first on RCDMA, see Sadikk bhai's post for information.
Aijaz 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 Thanks Dipan for the quick reply. But if Webworld people refuse to register the MEID then who will do the needful? I have already checked that thread. It relates more to the data services, successfully activating EVDO, but I am happy with Droid's WiFi connectivity. I am getting internet through Wifi. I want to activate Voice!! digitalnirvana 646 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 ^ Sadikk bhai is doing both MEID registration and EVDO. Getting your phone's MEID registered will make it like official handset and voice would work. Please contact Sadikk bhai on his thread and he would help you, after you get MEID registered then go to webworld and activate it by using retain MDN or *228 HCC.
