abhi.r 95 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 ^^ agreed with Greatest bhai no doubt specs are kool (OS 6.0, track pad, wifi, more memory ROM/RAM, 5MP camera with flash, 3.5mm audio jack) Camera is the biggest boost one can see in BB phones. but the shape and flapper structure is not that appealing
vikasmahajanz 33 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 this handsets is not much attractive .... that torch handset by blackberry is coool

ami1 237 Report post Posted August 15, 2010 ^ BB Torch does have touch screen. I read on facebook that its available with Sadik for 30K ! (prebooking) - don't know if its the gsm version or sadik has managed to locate a cdma version. BB Torch does seem like a great device (for a BB. don't compare with incredible/evo/pre)
Greatest 55 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 ^^^ pre-booking at 35K LINK
ami1 237 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 ^^^ pre-booking at 35K LINK Yes, its 35K, not 30k. Sorry. But is it CDMA ?
abhi.r 95 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 Torch is not CDMA. Checked in the Bb website, it only supports GSM. But soon we gonna see 9850 or some other number model which will be having CDMA capabilities.
Greatest 55 Report post Posted August 16, 2010 ^^^ I guess Sadikk/Cellwala only trades in CDMA platform.. still confirm with sadikk..

Karthik R 246 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 BlackBerry Style works over BlackBerry OS 6.0 and has 5 MP cam with image stabilization Retail distribution has been instrumental in increasing BlackBerry smartphones' presence in India. RIM appointed Redington India as its retail distribution partner for GSM and Brightpoint India for CDMA. While it started with nine cities, today BlackBerry smartphones are available at thousands of customer touchpoints across 70 cities in India. Going by the Reliance's and Tata's standard of pricing official BB phones, I expect this one to be around Rs. 35000
kesav 127 Report post Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) BlackBerry Style CDMA Smartphone Gears Up for India Release Research In Motion (RIM) is all set to launch its new BlackBerry Style 9670 CDMA smartphone in India. The device, which had a successful launch in the US and Canada, is a dual SIM phone and is touted as the first mobile with both a full- QWERTY keyboard and a flip form factor. The Blackberry Style comes with the new BlackBerry 6 Operating System and sports two LCD color displays – one on the inside with a high density 360 x 400 pixels and the other on the front face with QVGA (320 x 240) specs. The device features a 5 MP camera with auto focusing sensor and LED flash, while connectivity options include Wi-Fi, A-GPS and CDMA 3G at 3.1 Mbps. The BlackBerry Style will be offered through Reliance Communications and Tata Indicom, the CDMA arm of Tata Teleservices. The manufacturer has decided to remain silent regarding the price of the handset until its launch in the country. This is not the first Blackberry handset from RIM to hit the Indian markets. RIM India has the history of successful launches of its devices such as BlackBerry Pearl, Curve as well as the Storm. The Indian smartphone market is expected to grow at the rate of 110 per cent in the next three-years. This is much faster as compared to the global growth rate of 40 per cent. Little wonder why the mobile phone giant is concentrating more on the Indian markets. source :: http://www.gizmocrave.com/4434-smartphone-blackberry-style-cdma-smartphone-gears-up-for-india-release-soon/ Actual blackberry USA site shows this phone as GSM.
