i am seriously thinking of contributing, even talking 2 my college teachers and principle regarding setting up kind of "donation boxes" in our college. but the biggest thing that worries me is that all our contribution may not reach the needy due to the corrupt minister and other people in our govt. system.

please someone find out n tell us that which could be the the best mode of contributing eg. pm's relief fund, red cross society etc

yeah i too feel the same, though people have good intentions, the donations and help are often not streamlined or because of corrution they do not reach the actual needy. when they can make comission out of coffins for the armymen they can stoop to any level!

Quotes from the media....

Anil Ambani, Vice Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, on Thursday (January 6, 2004) met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and donated Rs. 1 crore in the PM Relief Fund for tsunami victims.

Mukesh Ambani had already donated a cheque for Rs 5.5 crore to the Prime Minister on January 4, 2005
