thilak.kmb 19 Report post Posted September 20, 2010 I somehow follow the habit of switching off my mobile at night 10.30. I used to do it manually earlier. Now that I have Samsung Corby it is programmed to switch off at 10.30 in the night and switch on at 07.00 in the morning. Is it good for the mobile? I too switch off all my mobiles at around 11.30 pm mostly, except the landlines. I never switch off my two landlines so that in case of any emergency my near and dear ones can reach me at my landline number. Another benefit of switching off mobiles at night is : This saves energy. Earlier most of my mobiles were put into charging nearly daily or on alternate days. Now, I charge my mobiles every 3rd day.
