sougatadc 358 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 Ya.its the direct competitor of metro tv...but the big big diff is metro tv's brand name......samsung...... Good features vis-a-vis low price are taking Micromax through. Micromax handsets' build quality are not at all bad either.

kesav 127 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 http://www.micromaxinfo.com/product.php?cat=CDMA&product=E360 It's always a problem with Micromax website. They always miss out key words in the specification. No clear information on whether it's OMH or non-OMH, whether it's RUIM based or not, whether it's EVDO Rev. 0 or Rev.A? Just disappointing Web information for potential buyer........
ni0987 179 Report post Posted January 5, 2011 Two days back i entered a micromax store looking for an EVDO handset. The sales person showed my this handset. soon i notices something was missing from the information provided on Box. though it was highlighting '3.1Mbps' speed, it nowhere mentioned EVDO (so, nothing about revisions also). instead it used a different term HSIA (High Speed Internet Access). the salesman proudly told me, 'you can watch TV on this'. and when i asked if it can be used as a modem, he said 'sorry, it can't be'. at first i felt sad, but later it occurred to me that the salesman could be wrong as the device is capable of providing a high speed data connect but not able to connect to a PC as a modem, which is a bit peculiar. I checked on micromax website but it too, doesn't say anything about its modem capability. only someone, who has bought this phone can reveal the truth. anyone? Karthik R 246 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 EVDO Rev.A is referred to as HSIA – this technology gives data transmission speeds of upto 3.1Mbps downlink.

I too think its an OMH handset as the box didn't have any operators logo/name.

commonman 228 Report post Posted January 15, 2011 Is anyone using this phone? A review would be appreciated particularly covering Internet Browser, Email Client, Java Apps Installation (Opera Mini etc..), RWorld, Using as Modem With PC.... I have used the GSM version H360 with MTNL 3G connection. The default browser is crap, but Opera mini and Bolt were more useful. The email client can be configured with POP3/SMTP. Most of the JAVA apps got installed without any problem. It worked well as a modem using USB cable, but was not able to use it as a modem with bluetooth. rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted January 15, 2011 ^^ But can GSM version be comparable with this one..Except the Number 360 everything will differ...I mean Chipset, internal memory, OS (May be BREW) all would be different in this one..
