Please Suggest a GSM Android Handset

Hi all

Please suggest me an android based gsm handset around 12k. i have never used any android handset yet but have read a lot on this forum and is curious to have it now but with limited budjet i dont think i have got many choices. Hey guys please suggest some phone i need one urgently

HTC Tattoo might come into your budget!

cheapest android phone by HTC... @ around 14k. but please check current prices.

these prices which i heard long ago, so current prices might be lower.

amoled screen itself is expensive so amoled phones are expensive ones, this is the reason you wont find any amoled screen phone in that budget.

Hope you have noticed that Galaxy 3 and also 5 have very low resolution screens. This is their biggest disappointment. I'm yet to see working pieces, hence differing my purchase. You could also look at the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 (not recommending, just giving you other options). However, it seems to be running 1.6 (I read that SE will upgrade it to 2.1). It is just slightly over your budget.

i believe htc tattoo has got very low resolution asnd a screen size of 2.8 inches...

htc aria and htc legend, both are of same configuration and but htc legebd is having a amoled screen.

LG Optimus is fully loaded at the lowest price (less than 11 K) ( 5 Mp cam,flash,GPS and everything else) with Android 2.1, but a bit slow compared to my legend.

i know android is better than windows but tp2 is also a gud handset keeping in view that it can also be used with my reliance no. if needed in future and also in my budget. can any one who has used tp2 tell me about his experience with this phone??????

I have used TP2 for almost 8 months and sold it just recently, its bulky & sluggish.

But TP2 has good features like slide out spacious keypad, excellent voice clarity etc.,

Personally I won't suggest it.
