Nokia 2280 Headset 2 Option?

this might sound silly guys but there's a hole on the side of the LCD which apparently is for 2.5" headset and the manual says the "Boom" headset can be connected to this, but everytime i've tried, it doesn't work in that port..... at a certain point i can hear the incoming voice but the other party can't and this too is quite difficult to ascertain as to at what place it works....has anyone tried using that port and if yes, then has it worked and with which headset......thanx in advance

try LG's handsfree kit. it works well. i've tried it. best of luck

Well u need to do lil changes in settings, ur phone might be on text phone instead of handsfree. its in settings---enhancement settings.

Anyone in mumbai got spare nokia original handfree provided with 2280?

Will pay for it.
