TRAI To Force Operators To Enter Into IN (Intelligent Network) Agreements

Recommended Posts

As TRAI is concerned about the failure in the uptake of IN(Intelligent Network) services(example:: You can use Docomo STD/ISD calling cards in Airtel(or any other opearor) n/w), it has decided to force the agreements to be signed between operators within 90 days from the date of publication of the below ammendment.

At the moment, TRAI has just released the ammendment in draft form for comments from the public including operators.

TRAI intends to complete the consultation process by 3rd November 2010. Thereafter it'll bring the ammendment into force.

Indeed a very good move by TRAI.

IN services will be a good boon for new players for maximising their revenue and it'll bring down the tariff further.

Excellent move by TRAI. I hope it turns into reality at the earliest.

It will be very much helpful for ISD users, imho... BSNL has ITC cards with per second ISD billing... But throwing it to dustbin is much better than, using it on the pathetic CellOne service (while on move or away from home)... I am in Hope to use the ITC cards on TataIndicom where the network is good and ISD charge is much more (Rs12/min for Europe), after the agreement was done...
