abhiiii 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2006 hi everybody, i just bought 6255 phone few days before. i am facing a problem with the pc suite and the mobimb 3. i am not able to connect to the phone using these softwares. i am trying using bluetooth. please somebody help me as i want to install some games on it. and also plz tell me version of mobimb works well with 6255.2.5 or 3. i am using IVT drivers for the bluetooth. regards, abhishek Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

tanveer 59 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 I have tried using the handsfree of my 7230 on it and it worked well. I have read on a few sites that the phone crashed/ developed some bugs when some people tried to use other handsfree sets, so better try it on your own risk. Also what is the version you people are using? I got my exchanged handset and I have noticed one change, I dont think there was HIndi in the languages menu under phone settings I am not sure but I dont remember if it was there or not. The menu and submenus all appear in Hindi but sms can not be written in Hindi though you can read Hindi SMS. Problem is that When i check messages or try to send some message option .. Display is gone and when i close the flap.. Display comes back.. Its happening almost each and everytime when i go to messages.. specially when i try to delete the delivery reports.. 1 of my friend said me its due to bad battery or charger which im using is duplicate.. Today I went to Authorised service centre in my town... But it was closed.. I have checked with few other guys...they said me its a known problem of 6255... Think 6255 has this prob right frm the manufacturing! Also i realized that i hav wasted money on this fone, cos it didnt support R-Surf and many other things... think i shud hav bought a LG! When i first noticed this problem, i took the set to the webworld (from where i bought it), and they said that its software has been corrupted, and replaced the old hand set with another one! I dont understand..Why does Reliance Launch such Models which are born with the problems... As per my knowledge each and very handset is been tested by handset testing team and then launched in the market..... God knows what do they test in test trial.... If some one from Reliance official is reading this.. Today i met one of my friend, He came up with the same problem ... So now its confirmed that Each and every phone of 6255 is born with that problem..
