Need Advice On Buying 5.1 channel Speakers

Dear friends

I want to buy 5.1 speaker system with following criteria .

1. I want to connect to DVD Player with 5.1 output/ with blue ray disc in future /stereo input / PC.

2. It should be good quality and durable and output should be in RMS( can some one can clarify difference between PMPO and RMS)

3. My budget is Rs.5000 to 10000

4. Should have wireless remote.Should be able to convert stereo to 5.1 dolby output

5. Not interested in cheap brands like intex ,altec lancing.

6. Creative speakers are good , but they have only stereo input and no wireless remote.

logitech can be had for around 15k. The other option will be Onkyo 3100. These are the two entry level HTIBs (Home Theater in a Box) that you can get at that budget.

I would second Tanveer's advice regarding Onkyo 3100. This is alongwith a receiver and hence gives far wider options than just a 5.1 speaker set in case of Logitech Z-5500.

LOL. Read patiently. Tanveer has clearly mentioned model no as Onkyo 3100. This is available around Rs. 15,000/-. at Ezone store of Bigbazaar.

I have found the following 5.1 HT speaker system for Rs.7300/

one model is DA5000 with total 108W RMS output

Also read review somewhere it is better than creative speakers

retailer has told edifier speakers are better than intex, mercury , altec lancing speaker

Techies please suggest me if these are better .
