varunpatel 31 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 VickSs, Same is the case with me. :'( I had also ordered the 1TB external hard drive and received an envelope with the coin and the envelope had the tracking number with paypal had given us on complaining.I was thinking I was the only one as no one had updated abt the same on this site but after reading ur post,I realised that it might be the same case with all of us. I would also ask other members to share there experiences and whether they receive teh 1Tb Hard Drive or the Coin? Hope Paypal takes some action soon. Either way should not matter for refund. If the item has been sent with tracking (unlikely as these are generally marked as gifts) then seller would be able to prove that the item was received by buyer. Then the E-Bay complaint has to be made for "item not as described" instead of "item not received". Only drawback is the item has to be sent back at buyer's cost to the seller to claim refund (according to my experience unless E-Bay has changed rule). If the item has not been sent with tracking then best to make complaint for "item not received". In this case no need to send back incorrect item even if received. commonman 228 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 ^^^ it is clearly written in the highlights tab "Mobile Number Portability Numbers not accepted as of now" the recharge is offered directly by Snapdeal (Jasper) and not through any third party/merchant. my personal experience with products directly offered by snapdeal (as against discount vouchers of third parties) has not been very good. amitnsonu 72 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 oohh I just tried the offer of snapdeal, did it through debit card, amount deducted, got an sms from snapdeal regarding that scheme but no recharge done in mobile (balance is same as previously). rather got a mail where it is written that " Advance Paid - Rs 50 Remaining Amount - Rs 0 (= Rs 50 - Rs 50) Show your Voucher Code at the merchant and pay the remaining Rs 0 (= Rs 50 - Rs 50) before leaving " what is this ? do I need to go to some other merchant for recharge done ? again it is also written that " After payment is successful, recharge may take up to 48 hrs due to delay at Operator's end what to do now ? dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 @rd - as this whole drama started from this topic itself, it can serve as a lesson for other buyers, so no harm continuing here @vickss - send by normal registered international post; cost should not be more than 100 bucks (ab itna loss to lena padega); send the receipt no. or photo of receipt to paypal as your proof of having returned the item; you will get refund within 7 days (as per my past experience) even before the item reaches the seller back...
