Anybody knows what class the SD card is? There are reports that class 2 cards of larger capacities (>2GB) don't work well with the Optimus one. Has anybody used this 4GB Strontium card with O1? Please don't forget to mention firmware version.

As I had not responded to the case, Paypal today closed the case "in favour of the seller". I was shocked and I logged in and filed a Appeal and then remarked the item as received but a totally different item (a coin) with no value. An appeal has been filed and am waiting for the case to be reopened.

My reply to them was under -

I received the item and it was entirely different and just a very cheap coin and not the "Western Digital My Passport Essential SE 1 TB USB 2.0 hard disk drive" as claimed in the listing. This seller has defrauded me and maybe many others also who had purchased this item and he has sent me fake and entirely different item. You should also check up whether he has done the same thing with other buyers of this item. If required I can provide the item photos and the envelope which can in no condition hold the actual item and also the entirely different item (a coin with negligible/zero commercial value) that I received.

Hi I wanted to share my personal experince with you all guys.The same is not a good one.

I had a similar experience and have lost 900$ in this kind of fraud.The problem is this supplier must have withdrawn the money from his/her paypal and he must not have associated any bank account with this paypal id.

So paypal cannot freeze his/her bank account nor in anyways get money back.So even if they verify you where genuine buyer,they wont return the funds.

This is clear in their policies and all.

I even wasted my hundred of money calling to US but still it was in vane.

But I still hope if you all can get money it would be rocking.

but not receive balance in my account and after call to Snapdeal CC amount refunded,

You should have called them the same day, I called them up the next day twice and they recharged my amount. The CC executive said that they expected 10000-20000 people to apply for the voucher ( ) but almost 60000 people applied for it.

Do not loose hope , today I also received the same coin by post. I called up Paypal and was transferred to Claims Agent (Michelle).

I explained her the case and then She told me that in this case my amount will be refund without any further action required from my side.

I asked her, if they require I can send them pictures of Postal packet ,but She replied that they do not need any proof as the item is

worthless for the amount paid for the deal. She also told that Paypal will refund 36 $ to my credit card. Also ,She told that in this

none of the buyers will be loosing their amount ,its only seller who be on loosers end ,as paypal has blocked his entire amount with

them including previous transactions.

To all those who are affected by this please keep on your communication with Paypal through phone, mails,etc. I bought items from

ebay almost close to a Lakh rupees ,but this is the first time, I have faced such issue. But it happens and I have no issue as I will be

getting my money back.

I too had the same experience but then i kept a close track with Snapdeal on their email id.

1.Purchased Coupon on 25th April 2011 and same day sent them a mail asking them how to go about it.

2. Received a reply from Snapdeal on 29th April 2011 saying that recharge would be done same day by the end of the day.

3.Again sent a heavy dose email on 2nd May 2011 asking them to revert money back if they were unable to hand over the recharge.

4.Finally received recharge on my RIM GSM Prepaid connection same night, bit late though, but received.

Kindly post them a email , hope you would receive your recharge soon.

Everytime i called Letsbuy, generally the call is always picked up after 2-3 rings... Sometimes comes engaged... Overall not more than 2-3 minutes to get through..

Just called now to check on Phone Number 011 - 40808888... It was picked up after 3 rings... Try calling again from other number/network..

MicroSD card formatted with FAT32 won't copy a single file size of more than 4GB and for 2GB files, the problem may be with the phone's OS not supporting if copying directly to phone with card inside.

Try this: Put the card in a Standalone Card Reader. Format with NTFS file system. While keeping the card in reader, try copying file sizes of more than 2GB.

If it works, then problem is not with the Card.

Also format the card with FAT32 before putting in the phone as the phone may not support NTFS.

I tried formatting using phone did not work, tried using card reader with NTFS and FAT32 the card could not be formatted. Also the size of the card shows 1 GB in the format window.

I have been advised by email to return the coin to beijingshi, China and report to Paypal on or before 14.05.2011 although the return address on the cover says Hongkong.

I checked with the postal dept. and I was told that it will cost Rs 425 for speedpost and Rs 880 for regd. post either to Beijing or to Hongkong. Is Paypal going to refund us this postal charges? I believe they will deduct some money from our US$ 36 also.

What is this about police complaint and FIR in the Police Dept's letterhead? When did they corporatise? Do they not know, this is INDIA and not US?

Did you send the coin back to the seller ?

Do we have to return the Coin or is there any other way out, as it will cost atleast Rs 425 for the lowest speedpost? Couriering will be even more expensive, AFAIK.

If Paypal wants us to return the coin, they should also reimburse us the cost of returning the coin. Why they have this rule of returning a fake item at our cost? Anyone here can enlighten us on this?And why does the address differ i.e in my case, it came from Hongkong but why return it to Beijing????? Not that it matters to me as both will cost the same.

Anyone else returned the coin and how much it will cost actually? Is Rs 425 correct or expensive? I thought dkaile told something like Rs 100 or so..... Do we have to actually send out the coin itself or any 25p coin (to reduce weight) also will do? Can we send out Indian coins or even the Chinese fake coin - is it legal? I mean to recover our US$ 36, we should not end up getting caught with the GoI on some vague, flimsy rule.
