amitnsonu 72 Report post Posted June 30, 2011 (edited) need a decent bluetooth headphone for my wildfire, but dont have much knowledge about it. is plantronics the best manufacturer ? on the basis of some feature mentioned on plantronics india website like audio iq, multipoint, recharging carring case, I have zeroed on discovery 975 (letsbuy price: 4419) and discovery 925 (not mentioned on plantronics India website and out of stock on letsbuy). Rajan ji is there any better option in 4500 bucks ? or any better price for plantronics 975 than letsbuy ? Edited June 30, 2011 by amitnsonu
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted June 30, 2011 With my limited bluetooth knowledge/experience because i don't like to spend so much money behind it, i can safely confirm that Plantronics is one of the best manufacturer if not the best. Better price for Discovery 975 is Rs 4,189 here http://www.flipkart....cccz8deqv5zghsk And i find Plantronics Bluetooth Headset Voyager Pro+ for Rs 3,419 here http://www.flipkart....cccz8deb5gammzf to have more features than 975 except somewhat bigger size & 9 gram more weight. Explore it..

MOBILE FAN 42 Report post Posted July 2, 2011 I need to buy a Dishwasher for my mother in Ahmedabad. I checked on net and mainly IFB, Seimens and LG are the main player in this segment. Heir has entered in this segment a couple of months back. I checked all of them in showrooms. They are mostly similar in built and looks. All of them come in the range of 28 to 30k except one LG model which is at 39k. The netizens are divided on these machines mainly on their after sales service and it seems that though IFB is largest selling, has maximum after sales service problem and the user are highly dissatisfied. I am really confused on this. Can anybody guide me here ?

rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted July 2, 2011 I need to buy a Dishwasher for my mother in Ahmedabad. I am really confused on this. Can anybody guide me here ? Let it be any brand, Dishwashers are really not meant to work well in Indian Environment, coocking methods, vessels used.. Just going through this blog gives some idea, how much hassle it is to use it effectively in India.. http://dishwasherinindia.blogspot.com/ Perhaps that's the main reason it never succeeded here.. Keeping a good maid is a better/cheaper/reliable solution IMHO..

Parth 10 Report post Posted July 2, 2011 I need to buy a Dishwasher for my mother in Ahmedabad. I checked on net and mainly IFB, Seimens and LG are the main player in this segment. Heir has entered in this segment a couple of months back. I checked all of them in showrooms. They are mostly similar in built and looks. The netizens are divided on these machines mainly on their after sales service and it seems that though IFB is largest selling, has maximum after sales service problem and the user are highly dissatisfied. I am really confused on this. Can anybody guide me here ? We have been using a IFB dishwasher in ahmedabad since the past 6-8 months. IFB is unodubtedly the best from the options that we have. You can order the dishwasher online from the IFB site itself. The time we purchased, the online purchase turned out to be the best deal. The results have been amazing. Yes, the cost of the consumables (salt and soap) are a little expensive, but it is worth it on seeing the results. Water consumption is also pretty less. My mom is now free from the tension of the maid arriving on time
MOBILE FAN 42 Report post Posted July 3, 2011 Hi Parth, Thanks for your input. I think ordering on IFB's site is at Rs. 1000 discount on the market prices (sales india price). But the most important thing is the after sales service. I guess, you didnt need it in last 6-8 months. However, do you know anybody in Ahmedabad who used IFB's services specially for Dishwasher ? @RajanMehta, You are right, having a maid has always been good. But now ageing parents' dependence on maids causes security issues. Also, I dont like my parents to give more importance to maids than to me Besides, once used to dishwasher cleaning, people dont like hand washing at all. I have a friend in Pune using IFB, know many Indians in US and UK successfully using these machines. I agree that vessels arrangement is something to learn initially to use these machines. However, above all, I dont want my mom to spend her energies and time on cleaning vessels.

I too ordered and it was cancelled. I ordered on Cash on Delivery Method, so there was no question of money getting stuck/refund. I received a phone call also for saying sorry about the mistake. Now Letsbuy has also sent me a Discount Coupon of Rs 500 valid on minimum purchase of Rs 750. Letsbuy rocks...
