rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) The most HOT & HAPPENING thread on rimweb, thanks to Rajan Mehta. I am planning to buy SAMSUNG W169 (CDMA+GSM dual SIM ACTIVE) handset. I found the best offer price Rs.4509/- @ infibeam. http://www.infibeam....9.html?id=Black Kindly suggest any better offers/discount vouchers/handsets. Thanks. Infibeam price seems to be the best for W169. Alternative suggestion if GSM+CDMA both active at the same time is not important to you.. LG Fathom VS 750 Rs 4,941 http://orders.ebay.i...id=190555593491 Many people have received Ebay India Global Easy Buy Rs 500 flat discount voucher in the mailbox today valid till 24th July . With that this will be net Rs 4,491.. What you get for only that much is unlocked GSM phone with QWERT Slider keyboard, 1 Ghz Processor, 800x480 Touchscreen, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, WiFi, 3.2 MP Camera. This phone is a world phone. So it can also work on CDMA networks.. (For CDMA, Will have to be programmed/unlocked/registered for use in India). FEVIN-RAJ 61 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) Thanks rajan But I have a query Will all the data features (like 3G Gprs AGPS) will work in this LG fathom ?? I think they also watch us closely.. increased the price by 500 rs Edited July 19, 2011 by FEVIN-RAJ
loypalm 9 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 ^^^^^ I think that is due to fluctuating Dollar exchange rates
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) @FEVIN-RAJ 3G should work in GSM in India on that as GSM arena shows 3G network for Fathom as HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100.. http://www.gsmarena....fathom-3356.php Still KSHAH is using fathom.. Can answer definitve.. @loypalm Dollar has not fluctuated by 10% today.. Which is approx price increase they made.. raccoon 53 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 Rajan and anybody else in the know - any good deals for Mixer Grinder and/or Food Processors? Also, any ideas which brands/models are durable? Our Philips HL 1643 kicked the bucket with a burning smell. Lasted barely 4 ish years with moderate use. A nearby, well known shop fixed it and when the guy started it to demo that its working now when my parents went to get it back, it sprayed them with sparks. Almost burnt clothes. Four years life from a relatively pricier brand like Philips is not a good show. In fact, even visually they do not seem as if they are from an international brand. Not to mention other niggling issues. Any ideas which may be better, more durable options? I hear home grown brands are better in this segment. Rajan, counting on your valuable advice.
