Seagate and Western Digital both has major production base there. WD's production lines are stopped. Seagate also affected. And most component suppliers too. Analyst estimates suggest nearly 30-40% production drop by 2012. Hard disk prices across the globe have started going up rapidly and which is expected to continue.
