Same item thru another supplier@reduced price also was published by them. But When I suggested them to alter the order they refused though supply delayed. You can't get them over phone. By pulling them in twitter & facebook (suggested by RIMWEB) was able to catch them and finally got the web cam after 20 days. mujeebrehman 78 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 I am not sure what happen in your case but I was definitely able to reach them through phone. There cc is located in Delhi. The shipping turnaround time is quite good imho at least for last 10 15 transaction I did. Two items that I had ordered recently was delayed say like by a week or so meanwhile I got an email from their cc department without myself inquiring about it. They stated they are looking it to the delayed shipping issue and then with next 3 days these items were delivered to me. It gives better random read/write performance which is mostly relevant for mobile usage. It's said that technically higher the memory card class, random read/write performance may be lower (In Comparison). When we copy large amount of DATA on card, then higher class card will obviously finish the job in lower time but how many times we do that? It's generally copied only ocassionally OR mostly one time whereas random read/write is a daily occurrence. So savings of few minutes on some ocassion may not be much relevant compared to day to day good performance in mobile usage. Transcend Class 4 speeds seems to be much better than most other brands - wether they are class 4, 6, 8 whatever. If you are comparing between Transcend itself - ie Trasncend class 4 vs Transcend Class 6 or higher - then the higher class might be better - i really don't know. I boot some embedded systems from microSD, so speeds matter a lot; and after Rajan's great SDCard review i found Transcend class 4 does actually give the best performance so i never buy any other ones. My 2 nos. of microSD cards of 16 GB Class 6 (Strontium) have gone bad within 1 month, bought from BUYTHEPRICE. I got frustrated and went for Transcend Class 4 from Flipkart. Really happy. I talked to their regional office at Delhi and they agreed to replace the defective card. First they tried giving me address of local Meerut office for replacement and when they could not find one they asked me to courier to them, which I have done today and they assured me they will send back new card within a week. Their address is - Mr. Naresh (Service), Strontium Technology India P. Ltd., 805, Madhuban Building, 55 Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019 Ph: (011) 40568675. sanju_barc 51 Report post Posted June 11, 2012 I have already got replacement for my 16 gb strontium, which took almost 2 month. I had to call delhi office mr. Naresh, several times. At least I would have spend rs 150 to talk to them. Now my replaced card also developed problem within 1 week. I could not even dare to go Lamington road, mumbai again for another replacement. Buytheprice left the worst experience for me. Then I decided to go for transcend and happy now. My 500 gone waste for strontium. I wI'll not advise anybody for buytheprice. At the sametime, 3 sd card of 8 gb strontium from buytheprice are working fine. So it seems, problem is with 16 gb lot. But buytheprice should admit it and do the needful.
