By any chance, is it possible that screen is capacitive touch and the button area is resistive? Sir thats not possible because the screen has 2 layers : 1) Digitizer 2) LCD Digitzer is a single layer ..not composed of 2 layers ..one resistive and one capacitive and touchscreen controller has to be 2 in that case!
