Dell India has a policy of replacement on their mobiles. Contact some senior guys. Wouldn't be sure of that. Regarding my LG P500, the service center also gave me a DOA certificate and do not replace the mobile themselves. For replacement I was was told to go to the same shop where I bought it from. Good thing about this is that in case the same model is not in stock or something, you may get to buy whatever else the shop has in stock. The way I see it is that mgdelhi has been inconvenienced by Indiaplaza. Normally, if you buy from any shop, if its dead out of the box, the shopkeeper should replace it immediately, without further hassles. I was told the same even by Letsbuy - that if its defective or has genuine issue, I can send it back and they would replace it, but it has to be done in 2 days or such. At least thats what I was reassured. Don't know how good they are when executing it. Letsbuy's reputation is not exactly terrific, but at least they are better than Indiaplaza for sure. Flipkart on the other hand seems to have a 30 day replacement guarantee. Ordered Sennheiser CX200 Street II earphones from them on Sep 27. Still not shipped. Opened a ticket through their website yesterday. Nobody has looked into that. Called customer care, After half an hour of wait in the queue, got through and the concerned person who is supposed to know the status is "out for lunch". Can you believe that? I was promised a callback and it never came. Do not have the patience to wait for another half an hour to get to their customer care. There does not seem be an option to cancel the order once the payment is authorized. It should be there till the order is shipped. what to do? Will never buy from them again. ( i7 2nd gen, 8 gb DDR3, 6mb chache,Blueray, original win 7, 750 gb HDD + 500 gb external HDD free) . Actual price of this product is rs 54,000 on samsung site. After 2 days of booking, i got the call from letsbuy that my order has been cancelled as samsung is not ready to provide the laptops. I refused to accept the money back. They sent canellation mail with reason " as per your request, we are cancelling the order". i decided not to leave these rascals...and wrote mails to letsbuy CEO, COO, letsbuy's Facebook/ twitter, CEO's twitter, Samsung marketing head, Samsung product head, samsung support (about malpractices of letsbuy and declining orders stating that samsung is not honouring the orders). Also created a page on facebook stating everything letsbuy did to me. And now result is that yesterday morning 9 am , i recd call from letsbuy that pls take your mail back. We have despatched your laptops and i will be getting them on friday . I thought, i sud share this wid all of you so that if something like this happens with you then you can also take necessary action. I bought one and the quality seems good thou the plastic cud hv been better from moto. i got delivery in 10 days and it was shipped from kolkatta. had to use power amp on my xt800 and got awesome effects since normal blue tooth music streaming was quite pale.
