Karthik R 246 Report post Posted November 17, 2010 Anyone can update here about their new offers? They are pretty aggressive in customer additions, offering free SIM with Rs.75 talk time on per-second basis.

Honest 836 Report post Posted November 17, 2010 No doubt, the offer is great. But the Network ????
Karthik R 246 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Dont know if it is an inherent flaw with videocon but I found that it has weak signals inside buildings even in city centres! Rest everywhere is under coverage, on par with the incumbents. The voice quality can be passed as good and in peak hours too it is acceptable
parin 857 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Does it mean lowest calls rates = lowest network quality
KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Hmm... Bad indoor coverage.. The magic of 1800MHz spectrum allocated to them.. 20p/min is IUC.. So they get 5p/min, getting a 25% margin .. May be lowest for telecom industry, but a dream come true margin for printing industry people like me.. But, wait... They don't have own/backbone network and they need to use other's network for STD and they need to pay the CARRIAGE CHARGE isn't it???? The CEILING of carriage charge is 60p/min and TRAI is thinking to reduce it during Jan/2011, isn't it.. Then how can they offer STD @ 25p/min????
