rishisuri 16 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Friends mine epic has stabilised like i faced the reseting problem twice in say 48 hours and no other problem at all . here is what i did 1. i ported back to eclair dl18 from froyo eb13 . 2. took backup of my sd card, and formatted it . 3. extracted update.zip of eb13 to sd card . 4. updated to eb 13, using update .zip. 5. formated the sd card again after the upgrade and inserted the formated card in the epic. 6. re flashed the reliance local 001 prl . 7. installed the req. apps from the market. now my epic is working without any major problems . i reseting twice in 48 hours doing that vibrating and having a black screen, that i think is some problem with the radio. which i think gurus have to find a solution. satishdave 2 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) No, the reboot Issues still persists, just now when i was calling from call history, at once message poped up- it said that the "Signal Faded" then a big Triangle with Exclamation Mark Appeared on the Screen, then it started to make few beeps & vibrates, i was trying to make the lost call from call history which was on screen then .. but the phone seemed to be irresponsive and then it rebooted.. it is majorly a Radio related Issue only, for sure. nothing else.. otherwise Epic with Froyo is fantastic except for this issue, i cant wait any more.. I am porting back to Eclair Stock Rom for Peace of mind. @ ALL Gurus Please look into this Issue of Froyo - Radio related issue & give us some solution.. How to switch between 2 calls? 3. How to merge the 3 calls? No, the default phone app options are not working for me correctly everytime. Sometimes when a take the second call it goes to the new call, sometimes it stays on the same call, in both cases it shows as if the other call is on wait. Merge has never worked for me. Froyo was good but i had started dreading those 3 shakes and the screen locks, and yesterday i was in continuous boot loops. Guess we have to wait for the new update to see how it turns out. Maybe they will just skip froyo and go to gingerbread !!!!!!! Wishful thinking!!! Oh in all this somehow i managed to screw up my EVDO settings and am stuck on 1x. rishisuri 16 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Odin Eb13 extended -> it will give you recovery preinstalled http://www.multiupload.com/6ZCARWCFVU Copy trulyEpic v3 to sdcard turn off device hold volume down + power + camera this will boot to green recovery (rfs system) wipe data/cache// everything flash the rom it has much better kernel (custom made) You can flash it truly epic_v3 Rocks it is excellent Please share the link Ok, found over XDA, is this the same you are talking about?
