abhi.r 95 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 but he programmed this phone for me when i purchased it from him. is it something which is updated when i used HCC card to transfer my number? should I transfer my number again to any other phone first and then back to this phone using HCC? That way my phone will start working? 1) MIN is mobile number specific? or Handset Specific? or just any random number calculated at service provider's end? 2) When we move to a new handset, and we activate the handset using *228, does OATF program the phone and insert all the necessary parameters.. abhi.r 95 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) yippieeeeeeeee got a call from reliance netowrk dept. and he did the OTAF on my phone. calls resumed as before first thing i gonna do is to take backup of my nam. thank you everybody for your help and support +1 for you all who helped me. Oo cant get the data working "Please check your connection settings". I followed the same steps which I did last time (devalap method). But still cant get the data (1X) on. Is there any other way? After going thru Devalap method, following is MIP and PPP settings on my phone.. ** PICS REMOVED ** Thank you Chirag bhai. Still couldnt get data working. Am i wrong somewhere? As soon as the person Im calling picks my call. the call disconnects and a message is displayed.. SIGNAL FADED. CALL IS LOST same thing happens when somebody tries to call me. The call is disconnected exactly on 3rd second when I receive any call. Is it because of modem version or radio version or any thing else? The signal strength indicator keeps on jumping from 0 to full strength randomly all the time. PRL: currently im on 10005 PRL. Okay tried EE03, EF02 and again back to EC05 modem. abhi.r 95 Report post Posted June 30, 2011 (edited) A miss call is a miss call... not incoming call. I can even hear other person's voice for a sec when i Make a call. but then call disconnects. I tried giving miss calls to my Epic from different number. and all were missed calls... calls on epic disconnects immediately as i cancel the call from the phone i was caling. That means i dont have A-Key problem? I just got OTAF yesterday. dont you think AKEY would have been updated on my phone then? AKey calculator do not calculate correct AKEY?? PS: My network indicator bar jumps a LOT from 0 to full strength randomly and very very often. ******** Okay, now I uploaded 1X PRL ver 10005 on my phone.
